Movement and Mobility

tuesday 7am

This is a Hatha practice, you explore asana (poses) to bring strength and flexibility to your body. Mobility in the body is the key to a life of vitality and longevity. As with all of my classes, you’ll have assistance of props, and modifications of familiar postures to maintain an alignment in the postures that works for you. This class is open to all levels.

Yin Yoga

Tuesday 5:15pm, Thursday  7am

Stretch your body in a  Yin Yoga class.  Use the warmth of the room to enhance your practice.  Slowly deepening your capacity for the postures as you sink into stillness.  Waking up the connective tissue in the body it is the perfect antidote for stress, as you invite your body into a state of spacious peace.

 

Restorive Yoga

Friday 5:30pm

Deeply relax and rejuvenate yourself in a Restorative yoga class.  Fully surrender yourself into the sumptuousness of postures supported by props, bolsters and blankets.  The passive stretch promotes body awareness and mental stillness, and allows you to let go of your week. 

 

Yoga Nidra for Embracing Intentions

Fridays, 10th -31st January

This is a pre-registered class. 

As we enter a new year, we often make resolutions.  Our good intentions soon generate discomfort we often succumb to the comfort of the status quo.  Yogic tradition offers Sankalpa, an intention from the heart unearthing what it is we desire most.  In the meditative state of Yoga Nidra we are able to affirm our resolve beyond the duality of the mind so it lingers in the subconscious enabling the Sankalpa to become our new habit with ease.
