Yoga is a mindfulness practice and I ask you take the opportunity to practice mindfulness off the mat as you come into class and as you leave. Please take care of your needs and be compassionate to the needs of your fellow students even if their needs do not align with yours. It is great if you can arrive to class 10 minutes early. This allows you to set up and settle in… and if you are anything like me, run late but still arrive before the class has started.
Breathe, let’s enjoy yoga together … it’s a very sweet medicine.

Aqua Yoga
8.15 am TUESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
This is a Pre-registered Class.
The buoyancy of the water supports your joints, and helps you develop deep core strength which will assist with recovering mobility.
Restorative Hatha
9.30 am TUESDAY
A THERAPEUTIC PRE-REGISTERED CLASS.
Deepen your awareness as you learn the benefits of a slow practice filled with mindfulness. Unwind unhelpful movement patterns and tease out aches and pains. You’ll have assistance of chairs and yoga blocks and bolsters, and we go beyond a regular asana practice incorporating other aspects of yoga.
Chair Yoga

Drop In
Variations of familiar postures are for each individual to explore with curiosity sitting on or standing with a chair. You get to choose if you want to take it easy or add a little extra with additional cues to your practice as and when you are ready.
Hatha Yoga

This is a practice of breath consciousness to bring your body into balance and harmony. The balance of effort and ease. The harmony of strength and flexibility as you develop awareness of fluidity within your body. You learn the benefits of core alignment and gain mobility physically, emotionally and mentally.
Yin Yoga

Slowly deepening your capacity to let go and relax as you sink into the challenge of stillness. Waking up the connective tissue in the body it is the perfect antidote for stress, as you invite your body into a state of spacious peace.
Mens Yoga
6.45 pm THURSDAY
This is a Pre-registered Class.
I have been teaching a Men’s Yoga class for over a decade. It is a loose fusion of different yoga styles. You get to work beyond the core muscles to create strength throughout your body. You’ll stretch out the tension in you neck, shoulders and back. And you’ll release the tightness in the hips and hamstrings. It is an unhurried class, where you get to experience your body move in a different way.
